Paleo Pumpkin Spice Candied Pecans

YOU NEED

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin spice

Directions:

Preheat coconut oil in non-stick saute pan over medium heat. Add pecans to saute pan and stir to coat with coconut oil using a spatula. Sprinkle pecans with approx. ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon and ¼ teaspoon pumpkin spice. Toss with spatula to coat evenly. Add maple syrup and toss to coat. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, continuing to coat pecans with liquid as it reduces and thickens. When there is almost no liquid in the bottom of the pan remove from heat and cool pecans on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
