Protein Donuts

You Need (for 6 mini donuts):

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup banana, cinnamon and vanilla flavored whey collagen powder
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • As much Julie’s Real Cacao Espresso Almond Butter as you see fit

Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients, stir in wet ingredients, and combine till thick batter forms. Spray donut pan with coconut oil spray to grease. Pipe batter into greased donut pan until crevices are about 2/3 full. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on wire rack and slather with our Julie’s Real Cacao Espresso Almond Butter as frosting.
